Sharad Bairathi is the Managing Partner of Embitel. He brings with him 15 years of experience in the IT industry. He is an MBA from London Business School and has an engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. He also has a post graduate degree in Information Systems from the highly respected S P Jain Institute of Management in Mumbai.

Sharad Bairathi has worked with high profile companies in the IT sector, notable among them is Tata Elxsi where he worked for 9 years prior to taking on the new challenge at Embitel. He is best described as an entrepreneurial professional with immense management capability on a global scale. In his previous role, he was heading the business with operations spread across Europe and US-East, before venturing out to create Embitel. He also has considerable experience in the off-shoring of Services Management and Support.

Daniel Rebhorn is the Managing Partner and plays a key role in the development and growth of Embitel. Daniel Rebhorn is also the founder of dmc digital media centre GmbH. Daniel Rebhorn founded digital media center along with Andreas Schwend in 1995 in Stuttgart, Germany. He is a computer scientist and was previously an independent IT consultant for various companies in the areas of engineering and integrated quality control.

Daniel Rebhorn focuses on Organization, Technology and Operations. He heads the Capacities Organization and Technology initiatives and also handles the operative area within dmc GmbH. He is directly involved in the operational delivery of e-commerce solutions and is poised to replicate this model at Embitel as well. Daniel Rebhorn has a strong entrepreneurial vision and plan for the company and brings his extensive experience in the field of e-commerce to the table.

Andreas Schwend is the Managing Partner and he is also the co-founder of dmc digital media centre GmbH, which he launched in 1995 along with Daniel Rebhorn. He manages the Marketing, Distribution and Consulting functions at dmc. His expertise is in Sales and Marketing and he is also responsible for Strategic Consultation.

Andreas Schwend studied Industrial Engineering and Business in Stuttgart and worked as a technical project manager in a leading company in the IT sector. He is also a member of several prominent industry associations and committees in Germany. His entrepreneurial streak and his experience in Sales and Marketing are extremely valuable in shaping Embitel’s future.

Klaus Kuhnle has an illustrious career spanning 4 decades. Klaus Kuhnle brings with him rich international experience in corporate management, sales and technology production garnered during his long association with IBM during 1969-2000.
He started his career at Siemens. At SEL in Stuttgart, he was instrumental in the development of coin phones during 1967-’69. Thereafter, he spent a major part of his career at IBM in senior leadership positions that included stints in Germany, USA, France, Austria and Switzerland. At IBM he ably assayed the roles of Plant Manager of technology production, Managing Director of technology production, Director of Sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland; and Managing Director of IBM Germany (Holding).
Since 2001, Klaus Kuhnle has been actively involved in the IT industry as a consultant. Klaus Kuhnle is well known for his global view of the IT industry and his comprehensive understanding of the strategic issues, technology developments and operational aspects of this sector. His inventive spirit, technology driven business acumen and managerial experience will be a guiding force to reckon with at Embitel.

Colin Aitken has over 20 years senior level management experience working in the global wireless communication industry with knowledge and understanding of core technology development, hardware and software product sales and the engineering services sector.
With business management experience of leading sales, product marketing and development in multi-site global operations, Colin has a unique range of skills and competencies gained from working with business operations ranging from large global technology leaders to smaller scale start-up technology ventures, including Anritsu Corporation, Motorola Inc, Sasken Communication Technologies Limited and UbiNetics Limited. Within this experience, Colin has led multi-cultural teams across all business functions (sales/marketing/product planning and development/support operations/finance/HR) and locations (Europe/US/India/Japan).
Within the software application and systems domain, Colin has managed both client and supplier operations including outsourced engineering services to Indian offshore development centres (ODC) to many leading European telecom and semiconductor customers.
In his previous roles, Colin has been P&L manager with responsibility for defining, planning and implementing business strategies to deliver market share, revenue and profit targets centred on the value of effective optimised resourcing.
