Mb3P is a eCommerce framework used for realising online shop systems for our customer.  This framework is developed in PHP and using MySQL as default database.

To simplify the maintenance of static content (text service, etc..) Mb3P is using the Content Management System (CMS) Typo3. From the perspective of Typo3, it is a collection of "Extensions". A Typo3 Extension is a plugin for Typo3, which is the extended functionalities of the CMS. Through the extension concept Mb3P is completely integrated into Typo3, the business logic of Mb3P stands outside and is run independently of Typo3.
