Primary Skills (Must Have):

• Excellent in signal processing and wireless communication
• Digital signal processing experience applied to digital radio communications systems such as 2G, 3G and 4G (i.e. GSM, CDMA, UMTS (W-CDMA), WiMAX LTE etc.)
• Experience in Matlab
• Good mathematical ability, strong reasoning, analytical thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Secondary Skills (Nice to have):

• Experience of digital signal processing in mobile or base station test equipment
• Experience with SCP / SCCP (SS7)
• Version control tool such as Clearcase or SVN
• Experience in any bug tracking tool such as Bugzilla
• Experience in static code checkers and run time analysis tools
• Experience with test scripts, test automation tools

Description of Position Responsibilities:  

DSP Engineer is responsible to  

• Develop DSP algorithms for the next generation of digital wireless communication standards, e.g. GSM, UMTS.
•  Performance investigations of signal processing algorithms using Matlab based simulation tool.
• Investigation of signal processing algorithms under consideration of hardware cost and constraints.
• Supporting test and validation teams in case of problems
