Designation             :  Senior Software Engineer - RTOS

Experience              :  3 – 5 Yrs

Education                :  B.E, B.Tech (C.Sc)/ MCA

Location                  :  Bangalore

Primary Skills (Must Have)

• Computer Science University graduate
• Very good embedded programming skills (C and ASM)
• Experience with Embedded and Real Time OSes.
• Experience with more hardware architectures (PowerPC, MIPS, ARM, StarCore, TI DSPs, etc)
• Experience with optimization, cache, interrupt/polling, TLB misses, software emulation through traps
• Familiarity with various peripherals
• Familiar with hardware vendor SDKs (for ex. Freescale NETCOMM software)
• Experience with configuration management tools (i.e. working with others in a team on a shared source code base)
• Very good English (written/spoken)
• Good “Project” skills (i.e. good to follow tasks, report progress, escalate issues)
• Assertive personality, able to proactively identify and act efficiently on project risks or problems, self-motivated
• Experience with development under Unix environment.  

Secondary Skills (Good to have)

• Experience with BSP (drivers development)
• Experience with KRN development
• Experience with TCPIP stack (and/or ICP stacks)
• Experience with ClearCase
• Experience in troubleshooting – traces, crash dumps
• Experience in prototyping and agile development
• MMU programming experience. 

Responsibilities 

1. Strong coding and debugging abilities using C.
2. To have complete ownership of modules / tasks allocated.
3. To gather requirements and also do pre-studies for various requirements.
4. To have the capability to analyze, plan and estimate various activities related to the Project.
5. To be able to understand Embedded Operating System concepts and also be able to test / debug applications running on the same.
6. To be flexible to work on varying requirements, timeline and technology.
7. To communicate with the client using emails , telecom , video conf about various project activities
8. To deliver high quality stable software adhering to the plan and timeline of the project.
