The Art of living foundation (AOLF) is currently one of the world’s most reputed and largest NGO. Founded by Shri Shri Ravi Shankar, AOLF has been involved in lot of personal development and trauma relief activities around the world since its inception in 1981. Although AOLF is headquartered in Bangalore, India, it has regional centers in more than 150 countries.

Objective:

The main objective of this B2C project was to develop an Art of living global store to sell Art of Living products. This store had to be based on a single technology platform but had to serve all geographies around the world. Furthermore, it was decided that there will be localized versions of this store to help address the region specific needs such as language, pricing and product range.

Our Solution:

In order to accomplish this task we ensured that the following features are incorporated into the site

Enabling multi store: We included several features to ensure that every localized site acts as a separate entity but at the same time also adheres to the look and feel of the global store.

Internationalization: Features such as multi data format , multilingual support etc were included in the store to cater to diverse localization needs of users from 150+ countries

Inclusion of digital products: We made necessary changes in the store to allow selling of digital products along with physical ones

Inclusion of several external interfaces: We integrated several external interfaces and ensured smooth functioning of the store.
