Recruitment Fraud And Scam Alert

Embitel values and respects your aspiration of joining our organization, but please be vigilant during the recruitment process so as not to be victimized by unsolicited or sought-out job opportunities. We are creating awareness for you and our potential applicants to stay safe from fraudulent activities.

How to Identify Fraud?

  1. We never ask the recipients of job offers to transfer a sum of money to pay for employment. Neither Embitel nor any of the legal organizations that recruit on our behalf ask for any money or payments from applicants at any point throughout the recruitment process.
  2. All the successful individuals who have been directly or indirectly provided with job offers from us are always required to go through a formal recruitment process. We communicate this process through a formal email address originating from us (For example, career@embitel.com), and not from an internet email address such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail or others.
  3. Any communication that requests for confidential information or financial passwords, OTP, or original documents is not initiated by Embitel Technologies.

What Should You Do When You Suspect Fraud?

  1. Do not respond to unsolicited job offers from organizations or email addresses that you do not know or trust, especially when you have not applied or gone through any interview with Embitel Technologies yet.
  2. Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know or trust or on a website you are not familiar with.
  3. Be aware and look out for suspicious signs such as communications from non-embitel email addresses, poor use of English and materials, and requests for fees or money.
  4. Do not download any attachments or click unfamiliar links sent from a source that does not originate from embitel.com.
  5. If you feel you are on red alert or if you seek for validation assistance, please reach out to our team at career@embitel.com and our representative should authenticate the details further.
Suspect fraud

As we extend our compassion to those who have been victimized or lost money in this way, Embitel Technologies cannot be held responsible for these scam actions. We will not be honouring fake job offer letters that are furnished by job aspirants.
